Monday 08 June, 2026
Start: Friday 05 June, 2026 -

Economic competitiveness and the role of the business environment in the European integration process were discussed during the BusinessUP program on TV8 📺, hosted by Andrei Crigan.

The discussions covered recent developments in the business environment, current challenges facing the national economy, and the importance of social dialogue. At the same time, emphasis was placed on the relationship between the private sector and public authorities, as well as the contribution of employers’ organizations to the development and implementation of public policies.

The priorities of the business community were highlighted in the context of the Republic of Moldova’s 🇲🇩 European path, including the need for genuine consultations with entrepreneurs and the importance of maintaining a stable and predictable legislative framework — essential for attracting investment 💰 and ensuring economic growth.

Last but not least, the discussion addressed labor market challenges: workforce and skills shortages, the need to increase productivity 📈, and the areas where cooperation between authorities, employers, and social partners can generate tangible results for the economy and society.

FIA Moldova was represented by Ana Groza — Executive Director of FIA and President of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova.
