The event “Dialogue for Trust” 🤝, dedicated to presenting the results of surveys on the level of taxpayers’ trust in the activity of the national tax authority, was held under the auspices of the State Tax Service, in partnership with the PP “Fiscal Monitor FISC.MD”.
The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova 💼, the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, the business community 🏢, business associations, development partners 🤝, as well as employees of the State Tax Service, providing a platform for open dialogue on taxpayers’ perceptions, the quality of interaction with the STS, and directions for improving tax administration 📊.
Within the discussion panel “Business–State Tax Service Partnership. Perceptions, Results, Impact.” FIA Moldova, represented by Artur Vîrtosu, Chief Financial Officer of the member company Efes Vitanta, presented the perspective of the investment environment on how the tax system influences the investment attractiveness of the Republic of Moldova 📈.
FIA Moldova reiterates the importance of strengthening a constant and constructive dialogue between authorities and the business environment 🤝, in order to increase tax predictability, improve the investment climate, and enhance taxpayers’ trust in state institutions 🏛️.
