Training on: Employment of people with disabilities: challenges and opportunities

We are happy to open the 2024 session of meetings with FIA experts with a workshop on “”.
FIA aimed to bring together all stakeholders (representatives of public sector, business environment and representatives of people with disabilities) in order to discuss this extremely important, sensitive and impactful subject.
Thus, Mr. Vladislav Caminschi together with Mr. Alexandru Ghetu, Confederaţia Naţională a Patronatului din RM – CNPM presented the legislative provisions, Ms. Raisa Dogaru Agenția Națională pentru Ocuparea Forței de Muncă put light on employment policies for people with disabilities and their practical implementation and Ms. Ludmila Iachim, Asociatia MOTIVATIE din Moldova emphasized the barriers and solutions for employing people with disabilities.
Our colleagues, Ms. Estera Anghelescu and Mr. Stefan Sfeatcu presented Kaufland Moldova good practices in employing people with disabilities, through their ACCESS Program.
Ms. Liliana Rotaru, closed the event with a presentation on social responsibility or how Copil Comunitate Familie builds bridges.
As a conclusion, everyone agreed that inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce cycle is a long process and it requires a systemic approach, both from the side of public authorities and individuals. More than that, FIA members elaborate and implement policies that grant equal access to work for everyone, thus encouraging people with special needs to apply for jobs.
