A meeting, in a hybrid format, between the Foreign Investors Association’s representatives and UN Heads of Agencies, chaired by Ms. Dima Al-Khatib, UNDP Resident Representative, was held on 20 May.
The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the Association, to share its plans and vision on cooperation with UN on sustainable development, but also to find out key projects and experience in cooperation of UN Agencies with the private sector.
The discussions mainly focused on possible areas for cooperation, approaches and follow up actions, including the format of future meetings.
After the meeting, all participants expressed their confidence that this reunion would serve as a catalyst for the achievement of the identified common priorities in limited terms.
