Workshop on the implementation of waste legislation

The event was opened by Ms Iordanca-Rodica Iordanov, State Secretary of Ministry of Environment Ministerul Mediului al Republicii Moldova and the training was delivered by Ms @Tatiana Tugui, Project Manager PA Experts Association “PRO MEDIU” ( http://www.pro-mediu.md/ ) and Ms Justina Grigaraviciene, EU High-Level Adviser on Green Transition.

Following subjects were addressed:

Overview on waste legislation with a focus on packaging waste;

EU best practice in implementing the deposit system for beverage packaging;

Requirements towards the creation of extended producer responsibility schemes;

Presentation of the initiatives to amend the “Law on waste”.
