The workshop dedicated to harmonizing the legislation of the Republic of Moldova with the European Union’s acquis in the field of copyright was organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), EUIPO, with the support of the EU4IP project.
The event brought together international experts, policymakers, and representatives of collective management organizations from the Republic of Moldova and other countries in the region.
Discussions focused on strengthening copyright protection, managing multi-territorial licenses, the right of public communication, and adapting legislation to new digital realities. Challenges related to the collective management of rights and fair remuneration of rights holders were also addressed.
FIA Moldova was represented at the event by representatives of member companies responsible for the field of copyright.
