On the platform of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, a Workshop dedicated to assessing the economic impact of the diaspora beyond remittances, was jointly organized with the International Organization for Migration and the United Nations Development Program on 3 December.
The event aimed to present the methodology for measuring the economic impact of the diaspora beyond remittances, to initiate discussions on existing national data collection frameworks, and to prioritize actions that will support the adaptation and implementation of tools for systematic data collection on transnational communities’ economic contributions to the sustainable development of Moldova.
