Today, the Foreign Investors Association (FIA), as a member of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova (CNPM), participated in a working meeting with the leadership of the State Labour Inspectorate, focused on strengthening social dialogue and cooperation with the business community.
From FIA’s perspective, we emphasized the importance of a relationship based on dialogue, predictability, and prevention between authorities and employers. For investors, it is not only the existence of regulations that matters, but also how they are applied in practice — in a consistent, proportional, and predictable manner.
A clear and coherent framework contributes both to the protection of employees and to better compliance, while reducing the administrative burden for companies.
FIA remains open to contributing to a constructive dialogue, including by sharing practical examples from its member companies.
