On 23 March, Ana Groza, Executive Director of FIA Moldova participated as a speaker at the event “Women – EU Ambassadors”, together with President Maia Sandu and other opinion leaders.
The event highlighted the vital role of women in the path towards a European Moldova and highlighted women’s commitment as ambassadors of European values.
✅️ Ms Groza mentioned the contribution of foreign investors to Moldova’s economic development and the efforts to create a favourable investment climate in line with European standards and best practices. The role of FIA Moldova in aligning national legislation with European legislation through the White Book – a source of inspiration for authorities in the process of convergence to European standards – was also highlighted.
❗️ The figures and statistical data presented in the FIA Moldova Study “Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on the Moldovan Economy” highlighted the benefits of foreign investment – predominantly European – for the country’s economy and the positive impact on the living standards of the population in general.
🔥 The UN has chosen for March 2024 the motto “Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress” – a global campaign to support women.
Ms Groza urged the ladies present to become agents of change – Ambassadors of the European Union.
