Training for SMEs on ESG principles

The National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova – CNPM and the Foreign Investors Association, within the project supported by Danish Industry and financed by New Democracy Fund, organized a training for SMEs on the application of ESG principles and ESG reporting (non-financial reporting).

The training took place between 19 and 20 March, in Chisinau, with the participation of 10 SMEs.

Among the topics discussed during the training were:
• Introduction to ESG;
• The importance of ESG implementation for integration into value chains;
• Practical exercises on establishing Double Materiality;
• Competitive advantages for ESG implementation;
• Experience of ESG implementation by large companies in the market with practical examples;
• Useful instructions on the activity of an SME in order to implement ESG;
•Others.

The basic trainers of the training were Vladislav Caminschi, Ana Groza and Cristina Tîşcul, assisted by two foreign Danish Industry experts – Ole Krogsgaard and Anne-Louise Graves Sandby-Møller.
