On May 14, the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova presented the project of the Program for the Development of the Competitiveness of Local Producers to support them in increasing their competitiveness on the market.
The program, discussed within the Consultative Council of SMEs within the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, aims to strengthen entrepreneurial capacities and facilitate access to training services for producers.
The implementation is planned for a period of 36 months, which includes the components of Visibility and Promotion, Facilitating access to consulting services and expanding into markets by co-financing expenses.
Local producers can obtain the status of local producer by submitting documents online to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova. Being highly appreciated by the representatives of the sector, the initiative will be submitted to proposals for improvement within the Economic Council.
