On March 18, the closing event of the project was held: “Technical assistance to the Government and the Parliament for the promotion of equitable recovery policies and economic justice”, organized by the Expert Group and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the Soros Foundation Moldova.
The purpose of the event was to present the main results and lessons learned, but also to discuss the policies and mechanisms needed to alleviate the problem of informal employment and make employment processes more efficient. The discussions focused, in particular, on improving the services offered by the National Agency for Employment in order to make the intermediation between the demand and supply of the labor market more efficient, but also to strengthen and ensure the notoriety of the institution. At the same time, the main results in advancing the reform of the State Labor Inspectorate (ISM) were also discussed.
