🔵 FIA Moldova | Dialogue for Modernising the Social Security System

On 28 August 2026, the Foreign Investors Association in the Republic of Moldova (FIA) participated in the online meeting of the Administrative Board of the National Social Insurance House (CNAS), dedicated to consultations on the draft amendments to the Concept of the “Social Protection” Information System.

FIA was represented by Ana Groza, Executive Director of FIA, in her capacity as a member of the CNAS Administrative Board.

The draft aims to prepare the Republic of Moldova for connection to the European Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information (EESSI) and to align the national system with EU standards on the coordination of social security systems.

During the discussions, FIA expressed its support for European integration and digitalisation, while emphasising the importance of properly assessing the impact on the private sector. The implementation of new digital solutions should help simplify the interaction between companies and public institutions, without creating additional administrative burdens for businesses.

For investors and employers, the digitalisation of public administration should mean simpler procedures, efficient data exchange and less bureaucracy.

🤝 FIA Moldova will continue to contribute to the dialogue between the business community and public authorities, supporting reforms that bring the Republic of Moldova closer to the European Union and foster a modern and predictable business environment.
