On 21 November, upon the invitation of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization, a technical meeting was held on the simplification of the reporting system.
From 2024 contractors will file 15 fewer reports, saving 684 thousand man-hours and reducing administrative costs. Most reports will be optimized for agricultural, industrial and energy companies.
This reform is due to the joint effort of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization of the Republic of Moldova, the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Moldova and the State Tax Service, with the support of USAID Moldova through the MISRA Programme.
Thus, a total of 15 reports (11 reports for the NBS and 4 for the SFS) will be eliminated, another 9 will be digitized and 14 will be optimized, reducing the content or the number of entrepreneurs who have to report it.
At the moment entrepreneurs have to file a total of 92 tax and statistical reports (59 to the NBS and 33 to the SFS).
FIA was represented at the meeting by Cristina Tiscul.
