On 1 March, the technical meeting organized by the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, was attended by the FIA Executive Team, together with representatives of other business associations, representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova, Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Moldova, Customs Service of Moldova and administrators and residents of free economic zones.
Thus, at the request of the State Chancellery and based on the approach received from the associative sector, a dialogue was launched with stakeholders on the activity of residents of free economic zones in the context of implementing the Association Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union.
The purpose of the meeting was to identify the most appropriate solutions and to establish the next steps to ensure the efficient functioning of the free economic zones after 2026.
