On December 17, 2024, Ana Groza, Executive Director of the Foreign Investors Association in Moldova (FIA), participated in the Launch Conference of the Twinning Project “Strengthening the Institutional Capacity of the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova for the Enforcement of Competition and State Aid Policies in Line with EU Best Practices.”
The event brought together representatives from the competition authorities of Romania, Poland, and Lithuania, as well as from the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova, the main beneficiary institution, alongside delegates from public institutions, representatives of the European Union Delegation in Moldova, diplomatic representatives from the three countries involved in the project – Romania, Lithuania, and Poland – as well as members of business associations.
This initiative aims to strengthen the administrative and institutional capacities of the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova in the implementation and enforcement of competition and state aid policies, contributing to the broader goal of strengthening a functional economy in line with European Union standards.
