At the request of FIA members – representatives of the oil industry, a technical meeting was convened on 24 January, within the platform of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization of the Republic of Moldova, with the participation of relevant decision makers.
The purpose of the meeting was to analyse the need to adjust the regulatory framework for metrological verification, in terms of the periodicity of verification of equipment for measuring and recording the quantity of petroleum products and liquefied gases in the Republic of Moldova.

As a result of the discussions, the involvement of the National Institute of Metrology was agreed, which will analyse the case, from the theoretical and practical point of view.
