Round Table on the Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers

On June 6, the Council of Europe organized a round table, which aimed to advance discussions on the Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers that entered into force in October 2023.

The event was aimed at deepening the understanding of the participating authorities regarding legislative innovations regarding the protection of whistleblowers, exploring international practices and recommendations, developing implementation mechanisms regarding the new law (especially regarding internal, external and public whistleblowing) and promoting dialogue and collaboration between authorities to enhance whistleblower protection.
