Public consultations on the draft new State Aid Law were held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, in cooperation with the Competition Council, the authority responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the application of the provisions of the new law.
The purpose of the meeting was to present to the business community the main changes proposed by the new legislative draft and to discuss their potential impact on economic activity. During the consultations, issues related to the general state aid framework, notification and authorization procedures, as well as potential risks and challenges for the business environment arising from the new provisions, were addressed.
