Public Consultations on the draft Law on security of petroleum products supply ⛽ took place within the Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance.
The meeting brought together representatives of the parliamentary committee, the Ministry of Energy, the business community, as well as operators and importers from the petroleum sector. The purpose of the meeting was to present the new provisions and obligations proposed for importers of petroleum products, as well as to discuss the proposals put forward by the business community 💼 for improving the draft law.
FIA Moldova was represented by Inga Pascal – Project Manager, alongside representatives of member companies from the sector. They presented the industry’s position and contributed to identifying consensus on sensitive issues and provisions requiring further clarification 🔍.
In this context, FIA emphasizes the importance of taking into account the proposals submitted by its members, so that the implementation of the future law is practical and does not create an excessive burden on the business environment.
