At the initiative of the Moldovan Bankers’ Association, and in partnership with the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM), a dedicated session was held to explore ESG principles (environmental, social, and governance) and the growing importance of non-financial reporting in today’s economic and regulatory context.
📚 The event brought together representatives from the academic community, offering a valuable platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of best practices.
During the session, Ana Groza, Executive Director of FIA Moldova, and Cristina Tîșcul, representative of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, presented strategic directions for integrating ESG criteria into corporate governance. The discussions emphasized the essential role of education as a key driver in promoting sustainability, ethics, and transparency in business.
🤝 The exchange highlighted the need to strengthen collaboration between academia and the private sector in order to build relevant competencies in areas such as social responsibility, the green transition, and sustainable governance.
✅ FIA Moldova reaffirms its commitment to supporting educational initiatives and actively contributing to the dissemination of ESG knowledge through a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach.
