On 10 October, experts from FIA member companies, together with Executive Director Ana Groza, participated in a seminar on packaging waste management, organised by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Moldova in collaboration with the Association of Experts PRO MEDIU.
The event was actively attended by representatives of business and environmental authorities, where the implementation of the deposit system for recyclable and refillable packaging waste, the regulation of the placing on the market of single-use plastic products according to the new requirements at European and international level and the reporting of data on packaging and packaging waste management according to the Law No. 209/2016 on waste and the Government Decision No. 561/2020 for the approval of the Regulation on packaging and packaging waste were presented and discussed.
