On 4 April, the conclusions of the analytical note “Access to financial resources for women starting or running businesses in the Republic of Moldova: realities, challenges and future prospects” were discussed.
👆 Some conclusions:
➡️ Women in business on average 2 times smaller – low level of start-up capital and bank financing, lack of time;
➡️ Business women find it difficult to combine family and professional life – compared to male entrepreneurs, the share of married female entrepreneurs is 10.2 p.p. lower, of divorced – 2 times higher;
➡️ The pandemic has reduced the equality of opportunities for women and men to engage in business activities.
