The 2 days session (December 17-18) event dedicated to the Migrant’s International Day was organized by IOM and UNDP in partnership with MSMPS and BRD.
The first part of the second day’s session was dedicated to migration and local development by presenting the best practices of the MiDL Program. In this section, the development of migration potential for local progress in Moldova was discussed and the guide “Involvement of the Diaspora in Local Development: Operational Guide Based on the Experience of the Republic of Moldova” was presented.
The second part of the session dealt with supporting the return and reintegration of Moldovan migrants, by presenting the preliminary version of the Moldovan Migrants Return and Reintegration Program and presenting the Ministry of Economy’s policies on the validation of informal and non-formal skills.
At the end of the event, starting with 19:00, the online launch of the documentary film “Dor ❤️ de Casa 🏠” was presented.
