The FIA Executive Director, Ms. Ana Groza, attended the MEGA Conference “Economic Challenges after Political Turbulence”, organized by Independent Analytical Center Expert-Grup. During the conference, the macroeconomic and sectoral trends in the year 2018 were addressed, as well as the forecasts of the main economic indicators for 2019-2020.
Among the policy recommendations were:
– Stability and predictability of fiscal policy;
– Identifying and preventing tax evasion;
– Transparency of finance and public property;
– Respecting the independence of the NBM, etc.
