📍 The Foreign Investors Association (FIA) participated today in the meeting with the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), held in Chisinau, as part of the dialogue with representatives of civil society in the Republic of Moldova.
💬 During the discussions dedicated to the challenges of reforms, the European integration process, the business environment, human capital and sustainable development, FIA presented the perspective of foreign investors on the investment climate in the Republic of Moldova.
📈 The importance of the predictability of the regulatory framework, the consolidation of the rule of law, the development of human capital and the continuation of the reforms necessary to increase the competitiveness of the economy and attract investments were highlighted. At the same time, the challenges facing the business community were addressed, such as the labor shortage, the need to accelerate reforms and ensure a stable and predictable investment framework.
🤝 FIA appreciates the EBRD’s openness to a direct dialogue with representatives of the business environment and civil society and remains an active partner in promoting reforms that contribute to sustainable economic development and the approximation of the Republic of Moldova to European Union standards.
