The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization held a working meeting to identify actions to encourage the consumption of local products, on 13 July.
Ana Groza, Executive Director, emphasized a set of proposals on behalf of FIA community, including:
✅ Training the public officials and dignitaries as Local Brand Ambassadors (Lead by example), but also the consumers.
✅ Launching a government campaign to promote Moldovan products. Creating product legend and history.
✅ Promote local products on social media.
✅Opening up producers to visitors/consumers. Organizing “Open Days” and “Tasting Sessions”.
✅Informing producers (SMEs) about opportunities to diversify their business.
✅ Education campaign for young people by organizing competitions for young people.
✅ Collaboration of producers with the Moldovan Investment Agency and other platforms to promote local products & services.
✅ Redesign and strengthen capacities for economic diplomacy, and others.
