The Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova presented the draft National Program for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness for 2023-2027 on 8 August.
The aim of the Program is to promote and support sustainable, inclusive economic growth, support the implementation and reporting of ESG indices, increase the share of small and medium enterprises run by young people, women, increase the number of students enrolled in dual education and others.
Among the expected results of the Program are the actions of deregulation and simplification of interaction with state institutions; active involvement of the business community in consultation of draft legislation impacting the business environment; stimulation of investments by small and medium enterprises; digitalization of G2B/G2G services and digitalization of companies; strengthening of the infrastructure of Multifunctional Industrial Platforms, business incubators, hubs, accelerators, industrial/creative parks developed/supported by the Government; strengthening of the business consulting and training sector in growth and others.
