The 6th Working Group Meeting on “Labor Market Development” was held on the platform of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.
The meeting agenda included several topics, among which:
🔹 Presentation of the labor force forecast for 2026 and anticipated labor market trends, prepared by ANOFM and UNDP Moldova;
🔹 Analysis of the alignment between educational offerings and the real needs of employers, as well as planned measures to reduce the skills gap;
🔹 Planned measures by the Ministry of Education and Research for 2026, including:
– Adapting educational programs to labor market requirements
– Development of dual education
– Strengthening partnerships with the private sector to reduce the skills gap
