A new meeting of the Working Group on Women’s Economic Empowerment and Gender Equality, on the platform of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, was held on 28 August.
The purpose of the meeting was the presentation of the Support Program for Women Entrepreneurship. The implementation of the Support Program for Women Entrepreneurship is entrusted to the Public Institution Organisation for Entrepreneurship Development and provides for an estimated budget of MDL 10 million per year for the activities to be financed under the Program, which constitute a minimis aid scheme and fall under the provisions of Law no. 139/2012 on state aid and the Regulation on the minimis aid.
