On March 21, FIA Executive Director Ana Groza, along with representatives of Sudzucker Moldova and sugar beet growers, had a technical meeting with Vladimir Bolea, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture and Food Industry.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform Mr Bolea about the consequences of the current crises on the sugar beet industry, but also to set out concrete proposals to support agricultural producers.
Particular attention was paid to the need to finalize and approve the Strategy for the Development of Water Management and Water Improvement in Moldova.
