The launch event of Working Group No. 10 for the Development of the Agri-Food Sector took place on the consultative platform of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.
The meeting was chaired by Eugeniu Osmochescu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, and Ludmila Catlabuga, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, bringing together representatives of public authorities, the business community, associative organizations, and development partners.
The purpose of the working group is to establish a cooperation mechanism between public authorities, the private sector, and development partners, facilitating the development and implementation of joint solutions and strategies aimed at increasing productivity, strengthening resilience, and enhancing the competitiveness of the agri-food sector.
During the meeting, the Vice-Chair of Working Group No. 10 was also elected by vote, a position designated for representatives of the private sector.
