On April 06th, 2017, was launched the “e-Acquisitions system”. The event was organized by the Ministry of Finance in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with participation of Mr. Octavian Armasu, Minister of Finance, Mr. Dmitry Gvindadze, Head of EBRD operations in Moldova, Mr. Iuri Cicibaba, Deputy Minister of Finance, together with the private sector, contracting authorities and civil society.
The presentations and discussions were mainly focused on the technical and commercial aspects of the system, on the legal frames form implementation of the system and the deadlines for mandatory usage of the system by all contracting authorities. Therefore, by 2018, into execution of the Law on public acquisitions and relevant European Directives, the Ministry of Finance intends to enforce the mandatory execution of the tenders via this electronic system.
