On 22 October, the International Labor Organization (Moldova office) organized a workshop on the validation of the Legal Assessment Report on Convention no. 190.
The purpose of the Workshop was to assess the compliance of the national legislation with the provisions of ILO Convention no. 190 on violence and harassment at the workplace.
Ratification of the Convention is one of the medium-term objectives of the Government’s Action Plan and the Country’s Action Program for Decent Work, recently signed by ILO and the Republic of Moldova.
At the request of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (2020), ILO coordinated in 2021 the elaboration of a Legal Assessment Report, presented during the Workshop.
