On 30 September, Moldova’s Agri-Food Market in Practice brought together potential foreign investors and FIA member companies already operating in the country at Efes Moldova.
The visit began in Efes Moldova’s production area, where participants observed the production process and saw the results of investments in equipment modernisation, advanced technologies, quality and safety standards, and the efficient use of resources.
📊 The discussion followed the full journey of an agri-food product, from raw materials and cooperation with farmers to risk management, market access and exports. Südzucker Moldova explained how it works with farmers and applies agricultural technologies to secure its raw material supply. 🌱 GRAWE CARAT Asigurări presented the role of agricultural insurance in protecting producers against climate risks. METRO Moldova discussed the requirements that local producers must meet to supply the professional market. Sandriliona presented how it adapted its production to access markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
🔗 The visit gave potential investors a clear view of the entire agri-food value chain, from agriculture and production to risk management, market access and exports.
