On 29 September, the FIA Executive Business Lunch, held as part of Moldova Business Week 2026, marked the first practical format of the FIA Investor Trust Platform.
The idea behind the platform is simple: potential investors benefit from learning about the experience of companies that have already made the journey from deciding to enter the Moldovan market to developing and operating a business here.
The discussion went beyond general presentations about the investment climate. FIA member companies shared practical examples from their operations, covering investment and modernisation, access to international markets, financing, skills development, the regulatory framework and day-to-day business management.
The conversation addressed both opportunities and real challenges, ranging from the size of the domestic market and the need for modernisation to access to skills and financing. At the same time, the companies’ experience shows that operations developed in Moldova can create competitive products, technologies and services for international markets.
Competitiveness does not depend on a single advantage. It requires productivity and quality, skilled people, access to finance, reliable partnerships, clear rules and the ability to meet the requirements of international markets.
