On November 6th, the President of the Foreign Investors Association (FIA), Mr. Ridha Tekaia attended the first Investment Forum in the UTA Gagauz-Yeri. Mr. Tekaia addressed the subject related to the “Investment Perspectives in the UTA Gagauz-Yeri”. The participants addressed also other subjects, such as: investments in agriculture and processing industry, new technologies and innovations, energy efficiency and tourism.
The event was attended by over 200 representatives from Romania, Lithuania, Estonia, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Azerbaijan and Russian Federation. The moderator of the Forum was the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Valeriu Lazăr.
During the event were presented several dozens of investment projects. Among those that are to be implemented, are the projects linked to the building of an electricity plant in Ceadir-Lunga and the construction of a hotel in Comrat.
