Ensuring the continuity of preferential trade in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the challenges faced by the business environment during this period, are being discussed at the meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova.
Among the topics invoked by the private sector were the customs clearance of international postal items, with the examination of the possibility of extending the customs control areas and the need to amend Government Decision no. 1457 of 30.12.2016 for the approval of the Rules on the provision of postal services; Norms of the Methodology of classification of goods, and others. The private sector also came up with a series of proposals that will facilitate interaction with Customs Service representatives.
