Regular informal meetings to ensure open communication with members of the Government and to identify priorities for further joint collaboration

The members of the Foreign Investors Association had a meeting on 7 October with Mr. Marcel SPATARI, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova, in an informal atmosphere.

Among the topics addressed by the participants, the focus was on pandemic management. FIA members were interested in the Ministry’s vision in this regard.

Also, during the meeting, the current regulations regarding technical unemployment, their stationing and their corresponding remuneration were discussed.

Another set of discussed issues was related to the professional training of employees, in order to meet the requirements of the labor market.

Increased attention was paid to the imperative need of modernization of the Labor Code and revise the existing regulatory framework.
