Regular informal meetings to ensure open communication with authorities and identify priorities for joint collaboration.
On 18 July, FIA members had a meeting with Mr Igor Grosu, President of the Parliament and Mr Dumitru Alaiba, Chairman of the Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance, during which a number of topics in the banking sector, telecom, agriculture, trade, petroleum products and others were discussed.
In connection with the multiple crises, all the participants considered it appropriate to increase the ceiling for meal vouchers and organised meals, employee transport and the full deductibility of voluntary medical insurance.
These facilities would be an incentive for employees, in the context of existing inflation, but also as a measure to stop the exodus of population, the labour market being one of the biggest challenges for doing business in the Republic of Moldova.
