Regular informal meetings to ensure open communication with authorities and to identify priorities for joint collaboration

.On 21 March, FIA members had an informal meeting with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Adrian Efros and the Chief of the General Inspectorate for Migration, Mihai Vodă.
The FIA President, Alphan Akpece, General Director of EFES Moldova, welcomed the guests and presented the Association’s activity.
In the actual context, one of the main subjects discussed referred to the security of the country, and the authorities approach to communicating with the public, taking into consideration the informational war, intended to destabilize the society’s perception.
Also, various issues where tackled, including the challenges the ICT sector is facing under the provisions of the Crime prevention and combating program for the years 2022 – 2025, the need to adjust correspondingly the legislation regarding the import of labor force, in the context of the massive work force shortage and also, the current situation regarding common border crossing points.
At the end of the friendly discussions, Mr AKPECE expressed his gratitude in the name of FIA Members for Mr. EFROS’s openness towards business’ proposals and suggestions.
