On March 16, the FIA experts met with for a business breakfast with Mrs. Olga Poalelungi, Director of the Bureau for Migration and Asylum. The discussions focused on the recent amendments to the Law 180/2008 on labor migration, elaborated within the Working Group “Stimulation and retention of private investments”, of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.
During the event, FIA experts addressed the practical implementation of the amendments, the impediments faced in this area, as well as came up with concrete proposals in order to improve the legislation on labor migration and foreigners stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, to improve the investment climate.
