University for the Third Age - Moldcell

Today, 1 in 5 people in Moldova is over 60, and by 2040, 1 in 3 will be over 60. At Moldcell Foundation we encourage lifelong learning and the University for the Third Age (UV3) is just one example. 👵🏻👴🏻
👩‍🏫 This week, the second module “Wellbeing and communication between generations” was launched at UV3. On this occasion we met again with students excited by the opportunity of this project and eager to socialise and gain new knowledge.
✅ “It is very important to create opportunities for active participation of the elderly. Moldcell Foundation will continue to engage in digital empowerment of the elderly and provide them with the necessary equipment to access the internet and communicate with their loved ones, including to interact more easily with the younger generation. In this way, we want to contribute to the well-being of our parents and grandparents”, Irina Strajescu, Executive Director of Moldcell Foundation.
