Training on Safe Use of AI / Moldcell Foundation

The Moldcell Foundation has delivered a series of training sessions for young people from different regions of Moldova, exploring how artificial intelligence can be used safely, responsibly, and to their advantage — even when it comes with new challenges.

Today’s teenagers are already highly familiar with the online world, so the sessions focused less on theory and more on real-life situations and practical exercises. Together, participants explored how to protect their personal data, verify information before using or sharing it, and use AI responsibly — as a tool that can support their learning, creativity, and decision-making.

The questions, discussions, and curiosity of the participants once again showed how important it is to talk about digital safety in a clear and accessible way, especially as AI becomes an increasingly present part of everyday life.

The training sessions are part of the Safe with AI programme, co-implemented by the Moldcell Foundation and the E-Governance Academy, with financial support from ESTDEV – Estonian Centre for International Development.

Through initiatives like this, the Moldcell Foundation is helping young people build stronger digital skills and become more informed, responsible, and confident users of technology.
