We cannot remain indifferent to the tragedy of our neighbors. Thousands of them crossed the border from Criva to Palanca to reach Moldova, fleeing the scourge of war. For us in Moldova, it is a test of compassion and humanity. All we can contribute – shelter, a warm pie, a word of encouragement – we must do it. We, the people from Purcari, have undertaken to host at least 20 refugee families in Ștefan Vodă, but we will not stop here. Please direct those seeking help to +373 68353031. We will do our best. At the Purcari tent near Palanca, every person crossing the border is offered water, tea, juice, sandwiches and other snacks absolutely free of charge.
Our colleagues at Château Purcari are helped by volunteers who have not been indifferent to our initiative to help Ukrainian refugees.
