Career Orientation Workshop / Medpark

Students and teaching staff from several districts in northern Moldova – Briceni, Ocnița, Dondușeni, Drochia, Bălți, Florești, and Fălești – recently took part in a valuable educational experience hosted at Medpark, within the “Model Schools” initiative launched by the Ministry of Education and Research in 2024.

The project is implemented by UNDP, with financial support from the European Union and the Government of Norway, and includes, among other components, a career orientation programme for students from the 15 selected institutions.

In this context, students interested in pursuing a career in medicine attended a professional orientation workshop at Medpark, where they gained first-hand insight into the work of a modern medical institution.

Throughout the workshop, Medpark specialists shared their professional experience. Physicians provided an authentic perspective on the medical field, discussing daily responsibilities, academic and professional pathways, as well as the diversity of roles within a hospital environment.

Participants also had the opportunity to visit several hospital departments, including the imaging department, where modern CT scanners and other advanced equipment were demonstrated, a laboratory equipped with cutting-edge technologies, and the in vitro fertilization department.

The experience contributed to a clearer understanding of healthcare professions and encouraged participants to pursue their aspirations, inspired by real-life examples and the professional environment at Medpark.
