Career Orientation Workshop / Medpark

On 5 May, the Medpark Foundation hosted the second session dedicated to professional guidance for students, held within the “Model Schools” initiative launched by the Ministry of Education and Research. The program is part of a project implemented by UNDP Moldova, with financial support from the European Union and the Government of Norway, aiming—among other objectives—to strengthen career orientation for students in participating schools.

The workshop brought together 70 students from various schools and localities, who followed with great interest the experiences shared by the company’s speakers:
• Doina Chiaburu-Chiosa, ENT-audiology physician, PhD in medical sciences, university assistant
• Roman Ciubara, anesthesiologist-resuscitator, Medical Deputy Director at Medpark
• Natalia Macari, senior nurse

The specialists spoke to the students about their professional journey in medicine — from university years and early challenges to the responsibility and beauty of the profession. They shared openly about the difficulties encountered along the way, as well as about dedication, empathy, and the importance of truly loving what you do in order to overcome every challenge.

Following the presentations and discussions, the students had the opportunity to explore the hospital behind the scenes through an interactive tour of Medpark’s departments. They visited the laboratory, became familiar with modern medical equipment, and explored the imaging department, where they saw the CT scanner and X-ray room. 🏥
