FIA Executive Director, Ms Ana Groza, along with Mr Vladislav Caminshi, Executive Director of the National Confederation of Employers from Moldova, participated on 25 – 28 September, at the workshop “Well-adjusted employers’ organisation for a strong economy mobilisation initiative for a sustainable work”.
The sessions of the workshop were dedicated to:
the cooperation between the employers’ associations;
presentation and discussion of the social partners’ instruments within the social dialog and reform processes connected to EU topics as well as to SDGs;
discussion and brainstorming on association’s initiatives to improve labor market and legal framework;
presentation and discussion of initiatives in the field of social partners’ cooperation on selected and agreed priorities, etc.
A separate attention was paid to the topic dedicated to the women in leadership: equality in education and work.
Also, the participants undertook a field visit to one the Georgian Employers Association – Goodwill – that presented the benefits and support offered by the employers’ association, but also the cooperation with educational institutions at all levels.
The workshop was held in Tbilisi, Georgia, being organised by Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Business Association for Education and Georgian Employers Association, with the participation of the employer’s association representatives form Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Bulgaria, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, ILO and Georgian educational institutions.
