The meeting of Working Group No. 4, “Reducing Informal Employment and the Phenomenon of ‘Envelope Wages’,” was held online on the platform of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.
The meeting focused on a presentation by an expert from the International Labour Organization (ILO) on an innovative digital tool for gender-neutral job evaluation within enterprises.
The GNJEEP – Gender-Neutral Job Evaluation for Equal Pay tool provides employers with a practical way to evaluate jobs based on objective criteria such as qualifications, effort, responsibility, and working conditions. It also enables the identification of potential gender-based pay differences.
For the business community, the tool provides support in facilitating the implementation of rules on pay transparency and equal remuneration for women and men.
In addition, GNJEEP enables the collection of company-level data to monitor gender pay gaps and contributes to greater pay transparency within enterprises.
