The meeting of Working Group no.1 “Eliminating Constraints in Entrepreneurial Activity” was held on the platform of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister.
The meeting aimed to conduct public consultations on the draft Law on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), developed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova.
The draft law seeks to establish a clear, coherent, and predictable legal framework for the initiation, awarding, and implementation of public-private partnership projects, as well as to align it with legislation on public procurement, works and services concessions, and sectoral procurement.
For the business environment, the draft creates a more predictable and secure framework for investors, facilitating their participation in PPP projects and contributing to the attraction of private capital for projects of public interest.
